![]() ![]() ![]() DOMAIN WALL MOVEMENT SIMULATION Under an applied external magnetic field H, a domain wall shows two motions: translation, and deformation, or bowing. The higher the domain wall energy per unit area, the more rigid or more resistant to bowing the wall will be. The displacement of the wall is hindered by pinning centers; an interaction energy term describes the effect of these centers. In the present work we have used a lattice Ising model to simulate a ferromagnet and compute the magnetization curves, for different temperatures and different coercivities.
